Vee Popat, Band Leader and Tenor Saxophonist, holds his B.A. in Music Performance and Music Education from Virginia Tech, and his M.M. in Jazz Pedagogy from the prestigious University of Miami Studio Music and Jazz Program. During his tenure in Miami, Vee recorded and toured with a number of the University of Miami’s award-winning performance groups. His professional freelance career featured performances with numerous big bands and salsa orchestras, as well as South Florida Pops Orchestras and the prestigious New World Symphony Orchestra. He has performed and recorded with jazz masters Claire Fischer, Vince Mendoza, and Maria Schneider.

 

Vocalist Kyle Addison is a graduate of the University Of Miami School Of Music, earning his Jazz Vocal Performance degree and gaining invaluable experience during his tenure there. Kyle’s powerful, harkening baritone voice commands the attention of a room, and is versatile to sound at home in many different styles of music. Throughout his career Kyle has worked with a wide variety of musicians, from leading his successful blues/rock band, The Rhumboogie Band, to recording with renowned Nashville Country Music Artists. Kyle exhibited talents both as the lead singer and premier songwriter, and is most recently celebrating the release of his first CD, Wrong Side of the Velvet Rope.


Matt Davis, a graduate of Temple University's Esther Boyer College of Music with a degree in Jazz Guitar Performance, has been a consistently surprising and inspiring presence on the growing Philadelphia avant-garde and "new" music scene. A perennial favorite on the bandstands of Philadelphia music legends Odean Pope and Bobby Zankel, Matt has also performed with such jazz luminaries as Billy Harper, Tyrone Brown, Byard Lancaster, and Dave Leibman.
Jazz Bassist Rory Haynes is currently working toward an Undergraduate degree in Jazz performance at Temple University Philadelphia. Rory recently returned from a tour of central Germany with the award winning Temple University Jazz Orchestra. Past performances include, Russell Malone, Jimmy Bruno, Seamus Blake, Jimmy Heath, Vanessa Rubin, Terrell Stafford, Ben Schachter and many others. Rory performs regularly at Philadelphia Jazz Venues and is involved in countless musical projects.
